Introduction
:- This
Air Lock is a rotary device for seperating two zones at different
pressures while transferring stock from one zone to another by means
of revolving pockets. It is designed for the agro based industries.
Application
:- The
Air Lock is integrated part of pneumatic conveying and cleaning
installations. It is used as a discharge device attached to the
tapered outlet unit of centrifugal seperators and serves for the
release of free flowing material from vacuum spaces.
General
:- The
Air Lock has a drop through discharge and is capable of handling
powdered or granular materials. It is constructed from iron and
is fitted with sealed bearings.
