TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
In this trainer by employing a pair of PMMA Fiber- optic cable in a full duplex mode, FO digital transmission system is realized. A few experiments that may be designed by the users :
(1) Duplex System performance by far-end electrical loop-back
(2) FO signal-channel bi-directional data communication system
(3) An optically isolated industrial digital telemetry system
FOLLOWING EXPERIMENTS CAN BE CONDUCTED USING THIS TRAINER

1. DC characteristics of transmission system ( I led VS I p)
2. Rise-time pulse width distortion (I led VS T rise)
3. Fall-time pulse width distortion (I led VS T rise)
4. Propagation delay T p and Optimum Po for minimum pulse width distortion.
This trainer comes with fully assembled and tested single sided glass epoxy PCB. Test points are provided for measurement and Terminals are provided for patching the circuit.
