Consists of a polished teakwood stand approx. 750 mm height. A reservoir bulb sliding on vertical clamping rod. A detachable air thermometer bulb 70 mm dia connected via 3 way stop cock to u tube with wide bore left hand limb graduated 0.60 x 0.2 ml and sliding indicator on right hand limb to obtain level. Base of U tube connected by rubber tubing to reservoir bulb. A metal vessel surrounding the bulb supported by a detachable metal shelf mounted on insulating asbestos screen mounted on the stand with a deep tray, supplied complete with one meter rubber pressure tuning for connecting the reservoir to the tube. (About 750 gm of mercury is required) with out mercury.
