It is a special purpose temp. bath for determination of Oxygen/Carbon-dioxide uptake/release during respiration /photosynthesis. Inner chamber is of polished stainless steel tank. Geared motor & eccentric arrangement is fitted to the unit to provide uniform oscillation of manometers. Immersion heater is fitted in the tank. Stirrer unit is provided to keep temperature uniform throughout the tank. Manometers are fitted on graduated scales or easy reading of pressure changes Warburg's reaction flask with centre well & side flask are provided for each manometer.
These units are fitted with PHOTOSYNTHESIS ARRANGEMENT having transparent tank bottom withflourescent lighting underneath. "EGO:/ "JUMO" GERMAN thermostat to control temp. from 5°C above ambient to 60°C with an accuracy of ± 0.5°C in case of refrigerated units the temperature range is from 10°C to 60°C ± 1°C .
